In a powerful live-streaming sermon by Bishop Pride Sibiya, he tried to knock some sense into believers in Christ; particularly the youths who still have many opportunities ahead of them; that they need to invest and trade in global marketplaces in order for them to secure their legacies and those of future generations.

Christians of today are failing to takeover international trade platforms in the name of trying to live within ‘Christian products and environments’.

Just by observation, one can see that Christians have been outsmarted and out-muscled by the circular and carnal world for their lack of pro-activeness in harnessing global marketplace opportunities.

Jesus Himself forewarned Christians about this potential monumental failure and economic slavery that is poised to transcend into successive future generations. “To what, then, can I compare the people of this generation? What are they like? They are like children sitting in the marketplace and calling out to each other: ‘We played the pipe for you, and you did not dance; we sang a dirge, and you did not cry’” — Luke 7:31–32.

In this short parable story Jesus Christ likens believers to innocent children who tend to play games in the marketplace, oblivious of its significance. They absolutely have no idea that as they are playing games in those marketplaces, ‘mature people’ are busy trading stocks and investing in assets for future use. Children have no clue that marketplaces are not designed for playing games, but for buying and selling minerals and livestock. In their small world, children see a market place as a playground while the mature see a life-changing platform.

Uebert Angel Junior, in a powerful Instagram post, had this to say: “The sad truth is that, if today we are conditioned to live only by Christian products, Christian jobs etc.; you will find that (in future) we would be in deep poverty and starvation due to the lack of Christians having ownership over industries. So it is our job not only as youth but Christians to own everything!”

“The end times are here. However, while we wait for the rapture it is our duty to build wealth for the Kingdom! Let’s be Rebels for (Jesus) Christ by recovering everything that was taken and build it for the kingdom (of God)!”

Christians why not own shares in Facebook, Microsoft, Exxon Mobil, Boeing, Airbus, Coca-Cola, Walmart, State Grid Corporation of China, China National Petroleum Corporation, Sinopec Group, Royal Dutch Shell, Volkswagen, Toyota Motor Corporation and many others! Why not be appointed into the boards of directors of these companies! You have the grace to do that.

Ladies and gentlemen! Boys and girls! Let us rise up with exponential power and authority, and take over global market places.

It is serious slavery to have the Holy Spirit in you and still work for sinners in this world. It is serious misrepresentation of the kingdom of God to have the Holy Spirit in you and still salute carnal sinners in flesh.

Even the writer of Ecclesiastes saw and condemned this misrepresentation. “I have seen slaves on horseback, while princes go on foot like slaves” — Ecclesiastes 10:7.

May you find grace to reclaim opportunities that you lost.

May you find favour to dominate global marketplaces.

May you build a solid marketplace domination for future generations.

God bless you.
